1) 🌴 Messi In Naples
So, Messi got mobbed in Naples.
While in the city for Thiago’s game with Inter Miami’s Academy, Messi was rushed by a group of parents desperately seeking a photo with the World Cup winner.

Messi has gone full Florida Man! When he’s not winning trophies for Inter Miami on the pitch, he spends his time being a good father. However, while it’s great that the Argentine is doing normal things, it’s unfortunate to see him being mobbed.
Hopefully, this isn’t a trend that continues.
Messi is a legend, but don’t mob him.
It’s nice to see the Argentine traveling to various parts of Florida.
The 36-year-old is in Paris after accepting his eighth Ballon d’Or.
Our take: It’s rather anxiety-inducing that Messi was rushed like that. Although it’s exciting to see him in the flesh, let’s keep our distance, eh?
2) 🏆 Messi Makes History
Messi won his eighth Ballon d’Or yesterday.
The Argentine is the only player in history to reach eight awards, with the next closest recipient being Cristiano Ronaldo.
It remains to be seen if Messi will present the award in front of an Inter Miami crowd, but La Familia could only hope.
Messi is the first active MLS player to win the award while playing in the league.
The 36-year-old was awarded the accolade for his effort in leading Argentina to their first World Cup title in December.
After this, Miami and Messi will continue to train at DRV PNK Stadium til mid-November.
Our take: The Argentine has made history. It was a joyous moment for him and Inter Miami when he accepted the award.
