1) 🤔 Playing Spoiler Against Charlotte?
When Inter Miami takes in Charlotte tonight, they’ll have a chance to play spoiler.
The Carolina-based team is still – technically, in the hunt for a spot in the playoffs. Should Miami beat them at least once, the Herons could continue to lean into the pantomime villain role that has been thrust upon them since the summer.
Inter Miami has the chance to spoil the playoffs for Charlotte.
Though Messi is unlikely to play tomorrow, the Herons have enough talent to get a win.
Charlotte is looking to clinch a spot in the playoffs for the first time in club history
Our take: Miami may not be in the playoffs themselves, but they have the opportunity to spoil the fun for Charlotte FC with a win.

Inter Miami have their third confirmed match of pre-season.
Per Argentine journalist Gaston Edul, the Herons will take on Messi’s boyhood club Newell’s Old Boys on February 17th.
It was also announced this week that Miami will be flying to China in early November in a two-game, “pre-season,” post-season tour.
Newell’s will be a good team for Miami to test their tactical ideas.
Many project the MLS season will start in February.
It remains to be seen if Miami will travel to Argentina or host the friendly at home.
Our take: Playing Newell’s will be a good way for Miami to grow its brand, but also stay fit before 2024. The nostalgia factor will be in full swing for Messi as well.
